Carey's Bio, Accomplishments and Timeline

 

• Born in Mountain View, CA the year of 1967 to an Air Force enlisted man and a young college girl

• Raised in numerous towns across a region known as the East Bay area such as Napa, Santa Rosa and Elk Grove, CA

• Excelled in sports such as baseball, soccer and golf

• Graduated with honors, Elk Grove High School Class of 1985

• Served in the U.S. Army, 9th Infantry Regiment. Honorably discharged with numerous awards including Distinguished Honor Graduate of Primary Leadership Development Course

• Attended college full time via the G.I. Bill - general studies and Landscape Architecture from 1991 to 1993

• Experienced a successful career in management for an automotive aftermarket and service company from 1991 to 2005

• Returned and completed his B.B.A., cum laude via Mississippi State University

• Survived stage IV skin cancer and is now deemed cancer-free

• Currently living his dream working as a golf professional and turf grass manager
